I don't have any Lancome e/s because I only love love MAC e/s. Sorry that the pictures aren't color-vivid. I'm still learning my camera techniques. FOTD: Using Ebay Fake Eyeshadow (Posthast)

Remember my post about the MAC fake eyeshadow that I got it off from ebay?? If you don't then you can check it out here. According to the seller, the fake eyeshadow was called "posthast". This is the first time I decided to use this "posthast" fake eyeshadow. It is actually a really really pretty color and it is very pigmented. I like it a lot because of the boldness of the color. So, here's the look I created with this fake eyeshadow.

Dame blush

Quick Airbrushed Makeup Tips

Just a quick tip for those of you that are using mineral or powder alone or to set your foundation. If your face tends to get flaky (or you want an airbrushed look) after you put powder on, spray MAC Fix+ 2-3 pumps and about 10 inches away from your face. You may use water if you like. Then take your powder brush or MAC 187 (if you have one or any stipling brush) and using stipling motion and go all over your face. This method helps shrink your large pores as well. Don't overspray the Fix+ on your face or you'll end up looking like you got a gallon of water poured on you. Good luck!

FOTD: DARK DARK Smokey Brown and Purple

Awww. I am FINALLY and OFFICIALLY done with my finals or presentations. I just have one more class on Wednesday next week for a fellow classmate's presentation. In graduate school, finals are not like undergrad courses that the students have to take tests such as multiple choices, fill in the blank, answer in short paragraphs, or just general examinations. In grad school, finals are more like presentations and writing 10-15 page papers for the class. This was one of the reasons why I haven't updated much of my blog. I have beeen stressing out during the last weeks because everything was just all packed at the end of the semester. Fortunately, I pulled it off all the papers... whew! I'm still alive!... *taking a deep breath*. I hope you guys understand!

I'm so anticipated about my thesis year which starts this fall. I'll have so much writing to do and especially putting together my thesis will be more hectic. Anyway, I'll try to update as much FOTDs/EOTDs as possible.

Here is a dark dark brown and purple smokey eye look. I don't think you can see my lip colors very well because I licked it all, but the neutral lip colors were really beautiful. Also, I used one of the eye shadows (Meet the Fleet) from the Naughty Nauticals line. MAC Meet the Fleet e/s is such a dark dark color that really intensify a smokey eye look when use it on the outter corner. It is more of a matte navy blue purplish color and it's buildable too. Love it!

Also, I didn't line my bottom lashes because my eyeshadow was already so dark and intensifying so I kept the bottom very neutral to make my eyes look a bit alive.

Sorry about the t-shirt! I was so tired and ready to wash off my makeup.

Prom Look

My sister went to her senior prom and she asked me to do her makeup and hair. So here are few photos of the prom look done on my sister. Oh, this prom look was done two weeks ago. Sorry for the lagging!

I don't remember the names of the eyeshadows I used on my sister's eyes but I know it was all MAC products. I believe two of the eyeshadow colors were pigments. On her face, I used MAC Select Cover-Up in NC42, Select SPF-15 foundation in NC40, and Blot Powder in Medium-Dark. For the cheeks, I used Trace Gold, some gently dabs of Sunbasque, and Everyday Mineral Waffle Cone blushes along with MSF Light Flush. For the lips, I used Gingerroot l/l, Barely Lit l/s, and Uberpeach c/g. To add details to my sister's closed and small eyes, I added some random Ardell falsie lashes and lined the upper lashes with Blacktrack f/l and the waterline with Graphblack.

I love my sister's prom dress!! It was so silky! The orange color of the dress was to die for. I also love the fluffy details on the side of the dress.

I hope you guys like the hairstyle I did on my sister because she and I absolutely loved it! BTW, I got the hair flowers at Target.

Love the matching outfits!

EOTD:Day-time Dark Brown Smokey Eye

This look is very wearable for a day-time smokey eye look. It is very pretty and quick. You can make this look more dramatic by adding more darker color to the corner eye and add false lashes. I don't usually wear false lashes because my contacts (clear) don't really last long on me. To end the look, go with nude lips as you want your eyes to stand out the most.

I finally had time to play around with my camera and was able to change the light exposure back and forth to capture the true colors of my eye shadows.

Eyes: (All MAC products)
-Bare Study p/p
-Saddle e/s
-Typographic e/s
-Brule e/s
-Graphblack e/l
-Spiked
-Estee Lauder MagnaScopic mascara
